According to a report published earlier today by 9to5Mac, OS X 10.9 could feature both Siri and Maps integration.

The device, which combines the internals of a 13-inch MacBook Pro with a Wacom pen tablet digitizer, will now ship with increased storage capacity, more RAM, and improved pen sensitivity.

Apple considering switch from Intel chips in Macs?

According to a report from Bloomberg, future Macs could be powered by Apple’s own custom designed chips. The report, which cites people familiar with the company’s research, claims Apple is exploring the possibility of dropping Intel processors in favour of the same ARM-based chips used in the iPhone and iPad.

Along with announcing relatively minor updates to the Mac mini, at today’s San Jose media event, Apple unveiled the much-rumoured 13-inch MacBook Pro with Retina display. The new machine boasts Intel’s latest Ivy Bridge processors, USB 3.0 ports, and Intel HD graphics – which drive the 2560 x 1600 pixel resolution display.
