Apple has released a software update for all the Mac notebooks that it introduced at its Worldwide Developers Conference back in June. In case you can’t remember, that includes all the current MacBook Air and MacBook Pro models except for the 13-inch MacBook Pro with Retina display, which only launched last month.

MacBook Air and MacBook Pro Update 2.0 release notes

This update includes graphics performance and reliability enhancements and improves compatibility with some USB devices.

This update is recommended for all Mac notebooks introduced in June 2012.

You can either download the update from the Mac App Store, or via Apple’s support website. As with all software updates, make sure you have a recent backup before you install it on your machine.

If the update fixes any glitches or bugs that you have been experiencing with your Mac, let us know by leaving a comment below.
