New iPhone 4 AirPlay & FaceTime TV adverts released

New iPhone 4 advert

Two new iPhone 4 TV adverts were uploaded to Apple’s YouTube channel over the weekend. The adverts, which showcase AirPlay and FaceTime, continue their “If you don’t have an iPhone…” marketing campaign which began in March.

With Google recently releasing its Google+ social networking service complete with video chat functionality (Hangouts), and Facebook teaming up with Skype to add video calls to its service, it seems appropriate for Apple to push FaceTime. It’s also good to see AirPlay getting some promotion, I suspect I’m not alone in wishing more apps used AirPlay technology.

iPhone 4 Airplay TV advert transcript:

“If you don’t have an iPhone, you don’t have AirPlay, which makes it easy to play music from your phone on your stereo, or see the photos you’ve taken on your TV. And if you want to share your favorite movie, that’s easy too. AirPlay, just one more thing that makes an iPhone an iPhone.”

iPhone 4 FaceTime TV advert transcript:

“If you don’t have an iPhone, you don’t have FaceTime on your phone, which makes it this easy to talk face to face with another iPhone, this easy to talk with a Mac, and this easy to talk with an iPad. FaceTime, just one more thing that makes an iPhone an iPhone.”

With the next-generation iPhone rumored to be released in September, could these be the last new iPhone 4 TV adverts we see?
