iPad 2 arriving in 12 more countries

Earlier today Apple confirmed in a press release that the iPad 2 will go on sale in twelve more countries, starting with Japan on the 28th of April.

Residents of the following countries will be able to buy the iPad 2 from the 29th of April: Hong Kong, India, Israel, Korea, Macau, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, South Africa, Turkey and UAE.

Apple fans in China will have to wait a bit longer, a WiFi only version will go on sale on the 6th of May.

As with previous launches in countries such as the US & UK, the iPad 2 will be available to buy online from 1.00am through the Apple Store, and from 9.00am local time in Apple retail stores and select resellers.
