Apple releases MacBook Pros with minor updates

Earlier today, without any fanfare, Apple released updates to its MacBook Pro line of laptops. The updates, which are fairly minor, include slightly faster processors across the board, and bigger hard drives for some models. Prices remain the same as the previous generation.

The new models are available in the following configurations:

13-inch MacBook Pro

2.4GHz dual-core Intel Core i5, 4GB RAM, 500GB 5400-rpm Hard Drive, Intel HD Graphics 3000

2.8GHz dual-core Intel Core i7, 4GB RAM, 750GB 5400-rpm Hard Drive, Intel HD Graphics 3000

15-inch MacBook Pro

2.2GHz quad-core Intel Core i7, 4GB RAM, 500GB 5400-rpm Hard Drive, Intel HD Graphics 3000, AMD Radeon HD 6750M

2.4GHz quad-core Intel Core i7, 4GB RAM, 750GB 5400-rpm Hard Drive, Intel HD Graphics 3000, AMD Radeon HD 6770M

17-inch MacBook Pro

2.4GHz quad-core Intel Core i7, 4GB RAM, 750GB 5400-rpm Hard Drive, Intel HD Graphics 3000, AMD Radeon HD 6770M

Both the 15-inch & 17-inch MacBook Pro can also be configured with even faster 2.5GHz quad-core processors.

The new models are available to order from the online Apple Store immediately.
