Final Cut Pro X

Final Cut Pro X received a lot of criticism when it was launched back in June 2011. Apple made some significant changes to the popular video editing tool, and cut a number of features that many users, particularly professionals, still used. The Cupertino company is now launching a new marking push to win those consumers back, alongside updates for Final Cut Pro X, Motion and Compressor.

The Los Angeles Times reports that Apple’s new marketing campaign will kick off today to coincide with the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) convention that starts on April 6 in Las Vegas.

Apple’s campaign will feature professional video editors who have embraced Final Cut Pro X, including Julian Liurette from the Globe and Mail newspaper, and Tsui Hark, one of the biggest names in Hong Kong cinema.

In addition to this, Apple has released updates for Final Cut Pro X, Motion and Compressor. The updates introduce a number of key improvements, including bug fixes, support for new codecs, and more.
