iTunes 11

In addition to releasing a new version of Java for OS X, and iOS 6.1.2 for the iPad, iPhone and iPod touch, Apple has today also released iTunes version 11.0.2. The update brings with it a number of performance and stability improvements, plus a new Composers view for music.

Release notes:

This update adds a new Composers view for music, improves responsiveness when syncing playlists with a large number of songs, and fixes an issue where purchases may not show up in your iTunes library. This update also includes other stability and performance improvements.

Apple has now issued two updates for iTunes 11 since it was launched back in November 2012. The previous 11.0.1 update added the ability to display duplicate items in your iTunes library, plus various bug fixes.

The 11.0.2 update can either be downloaded from within the iTunes software itself, the Mac App Store, or Appleā€™s support website.
