While Apple didn’t mention the Mac Pro during yesterday’s WWDC Keynote, it hasn’t been completely neglected by the company. After the Apple Store came back online it was discovered that the desktop had been given slightly faster Xeon processors and more RAM.

Despite those updates however, the Mac Pro is still the only Mac that doesn’t have Thunderbolt, nor does it have USB 3.0 which was announced for the latest MacBook Air and MacBook Pro models.

Available Configurations

Quad-Core – One 3.2GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon processor, 6GB memory, 1TB hard drive, 18x SuperDrive, ATI Radeon HD 5770 with 1GB GDDR5.

12-Core – Two 2.4GHz 6-Core Intel Xeon processors, 12GB memory, 1TB hard drive, 18x SuperDrive, ATI Radeon HD 5770 with 1GB GDDR5.

Server – One 3.2GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon processor, 8GB memory, two 1TB hard drives, OS X Lion Server, ATI Radeon HD 5770 with 1GB GDDR5.

While minor, these updates are the first that the Mac Pro has received since 2010.
