So far, Apple has announced that the festival will feature performances from: Usher, Emeli Sandé, Jack White, Norah Jones, and One Direction.

Free tickets for each of the nights are available to win via a prize-draw, which is open to residents of the UK, Ireland, France, Germany and the Netherlands aged 14 years and over.

If you’re unable to attend or aren’t lucky enough to win tickets, the shows will also be available to watch live online (and for a limited time afterwards), using iTunes on a Mac or PC, and on the free iTunes Festival 2012 app for the iPhone, iPad or iPod touch. If you own an Apple TV you can stream the concerts from the app to your big screen via AirPlay.

Apple are also expected to release music from the festival on the iTunes Store.
