The photo above, which was posted on Chinese site Weiphone, appears to show the spec sheet of an upcoming 13-inch MacBook Pro. If genuine, it reveals the new model will have a 2.5GHz dual-core Intel Core i5 processor, Intel HD Graphics 4000 GPU, Bluetooth 4.0, and two USB 3.0 ports – suggesting this is an Ivy Bridge based MacBook Pro.

Apple hints at hardware-specific “special feature” for OS X Mountain Lion

Participants in Apple’s “AppleSeed” program have received an invitation to test a new Mac application called Feedback Assistant, which allows them to register each of their Apple machines for software testing. Apple says the information is for “exclusive seeds” of OS X Mountain Lion and hints at hardware-specific “special features.”

WSJ: Apple ordering screens ‘at least 4 inches’ for the next-generation iPhone

Sources for The Wall Street Journal claim Apple has ordered displays measuring “at least 4 inches diagonally” for the next-generation iPhone – an increase of half an inch compared to the current models. Manufacturers lined up to provide the screens, include Sharp, LG, and Japan Display – a new display business set up by Sony, Hitachi, and Toshiba.

Retina display MacBook Pros to be unveilled at WWDC?

Apple are believed to be in acquisition talks with Loewe – a German electronics manufacturer and distributor of premium televisions, home entertainment systems and audio components. According to an unconfirmed AppleInsider report, Apple has offered 87.3 million Euros (roughly $112 million) for the company, and a deal could be finalized by the end of next week.

I like my music, but I wouldn’t exactly say I’m an “audiophile,” so the free earbuds Apple bundles with its iOS devices suit me just fine. But to those who know a thing or two about music, they’re awful. They don’t sound all that great, apparently, and unlike other Apple products, their build quality is a little disappointing.
